Trinity Western University wanted to make
a dramatic departure from their previous recruitment materials.
Establishing a strong & united brand was their main goal
for launching the under-graduate recruitment campaign for 2003/2004.
Working closely with their internal communications
staff over the period of a year, we first art directed an extensive
on campus, two day photo shoot to capture students and staff
being themselves.
Then we set to work designing a branded template
system to best showcase the university and it's
people in a
clear and consistent manner.
The end results speak for themselves and
in 2003
the main ‘Viewbook' won Grand Gold in the publications
category in the CASE
District VIII Awards Competition. This is the top award
for all of the
124 main brochures submitted from universities
and colleges in the Pacific Northwest (US) and Western Canada for the year.
